to go to the school library, i have to go down from my third floor office to the second floor where the main entrance to the library is, then go up to the third floor of the library where the books that i like to read are. the second floor is full of books graduate students read. i don't like those books. my office is separated from my most visited shelves by about 20 meters of space. space interrupted by my office wall, a narrow corridor, and the library wall.

when you look at a map, you think that the shortest distance between two locales is the straight line. man and nature has conspired to make that thinking false.

loyalty

today i got a text from a friend who still believes i can write. it rekindled my interest in this blog again.

what to do with the paper journal i have been loyal to since last month? it represented my only new year's resolution. the entries there were good, the sketches so pretty. migrate them here?

in lust

today i discovered an obsession i did not know i had.

smut for nerds. how apt.

its exactly 6pm

its exactly 6pm and instead of being in transit home, i am preparing for work.

its not as if i have not yet put in 8 hours of honest work.

well, i did spend an hour shopping for school supplies and school pants for son.

but that was my lunch hour and i didn't take a lunch break so it doesn't count.

and i did spend maybe around 30 minutes total updating my goals in 43 things.

but that would be the equivalent of two 15 minutes breaks which i, again, did not take, unlike most everybody here. so again, it doesn't count.

right now i need to put on lipstick and mascara.

story of my life. putting on make up at a time when most would be erasing them.
